Working Principle
Under normal operating conditions BBC supplies stabilized floating voltage to battery, for its complete recharge,
and at same time current required on board loads.
BBC is solid state high frequency AC/DC converter, fed 50/60 Hz power line, to supply with stabilized voltage
battery and on board loads in float and boost charge operation mode.
Power circuit consist of 2 / 3 phase rectifier bridge supplied from input line.
A “current mode” high frequency converter will supply output insulation transformer.
Output transformer voltage is selected to supply loads and battery Vdc rated voltage, increasing voltage to
value required for complete battery recharge with -15% power line input.
Regulation system closed-loop type include two circuits:
1. Automatic voltage regulation
2. Automatic current regulation
Total output current electronic control circuit protects BBC from short circuit and overloads.
